About BeeCured Biotech

A Mission Born from Personal Experience

BeeCured Biotech was founded on a simple idea: if nature contains compounds that scientists believe are worth studying, researchers should have access to them.

For founder Hunter Carnley, that idea became personal.

Over the years, Hunter watched friends, mentors, and family members face cancer diagnoses. One of the most influential was a close friend and mentor whose battle with cancer inspired him to learn more about the disease and the emerging research surrounding potential new approaches to treatment.

As he began reading scientific literature and research publications, one area repeatedly captured his attention: bee venom and its primary peptide, melittin. Researchers around the world were publishing studies investigating how compounds found in bee venom interact with cancer cells, immune pathways, and other biological systems. While much of the work remained in the laboratory and research stages, the scientific potential was impossible to ignore.

The more he learned, the more he believed researchers needed access to high-quality, ethically collected apitoxin to continue advancing the science.

That belief became the foundation of BeeCured Biotech.

From Beekeeper to Biotech Founder

At the time BeeCured was taking shape, Hunter was attending the University of Florida, studying business while working as a beekeeper to support himself financially.

His experience with bees provided something unique: direct access to the very resource being studied by scientists and researchers around the world.

While many people viewed beekeeping simply as agriculture, Hunter saw something more. He saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between ethical apiary management and scientific innovation.

By combining his experience working with honeybees, his entrepreneurial background, and his growing interest in biotechnology, BeeCured was created to supply research-grade apitoxin for scientific, pharmaceutical, and commercial applications.

Building Companies Around Real Problems

BeeCured is not Hunter's first entrepreneurial venture.

Throughout his career, he has focused on building organizations designed to solve meaningful problems and create positive impact.

His ventures include:

Savori Market

An online farmers market designed to help local farms, food producers, and small businesses reach customers through modern e-commerce and delivery technology.

Watchdog Software

A software company developing safety and security technologies for school campuses.

Sub Orbital Defense Systems

A defense technology company focused on drone, reconnaissance, and autonomous systems development.

While each company serves a different industry, they share a common principle: using innovation and entrepreneurship to address real-world challenges.

Our Commitment

Today, BeeCured operates a growing network of Florida apiaries dedicated to the ethical collection of apitoxin through non-lethal methods that prioritize hive health and pollinator stewardship.

Every batch is collected, documented, and handled with a focus on quality, traceability, and scientific integrity.

By partnering with experienced laboratory organizations and maintaining a commitment to responsible beekeeping practices, BeeCured is helping build the infrastructure needed to support the next generation of bee venom research.

Looking Ahead

The science of apitoxin is still evolving. New discoveries are being made every year, and researchers continue to explore the unique properties of compounds such as melittin, apamin, and phospholipase A2.

BeeCured was founded with the belief that scientific progress requires both curiosity and access.

Our role is simple: provide researchers, innovators, and commercial partners with ethically collected, research-grade apitoxin while supporting the advancement of bee venom science for years to come.
